Fabric sample packs are curated bundles of swatches designed to make choosing easier especially when you’re planning a scheme or comparing similar tones. Instead of starting from scratch, you get a considered selection in a colour family or style direction. They’re ideal for mood boards, renovations, and fast decision-making.

Yes, our sample packs are designed to help you choose confidently, and sampling is a big part of how we operate. Free sampling applies up to a set limit per order, and larger sample orders can trigger shipping charges. If you hit a sampling cap at checkout, simply reduce your selection and try again.

You can order up to 15 samples for free before shipping prices automatically apply. The maximum number you can request in one go can vary depending on the mix of individual samples and sample packs. If you receive a “cannot ship to this address” message, you’ve hit the upper limit for that order.

Sample orders are processed promptly during business hours. For Urban NZ addresses, Free samples are sent via courier. These can take 1-3 days. Rural addresses are sent for free via standard mail (10-14 days untrackable), or can be sent via courier by selecting and paying for the rural courier charge.

Yes, if you've already narrowed it down, ordering individual fabric samples is the fastest way to check colour, texture, and weight at home. Many customers start with a sample pack to find a direction, then follow up with a few individual swatches of their top contenders before ordering metres.

Our focus is always on in-stock fabrics you can actually use for your project. Sample packs are built around the ranges we’re carrying, but fabrics do move quickly. If you fall in love with a swatch, it’s worth ordering sooner rather than later  especially for limited or popular lines.

Yes  we ship samples NZ wide, including rural delivery. Rural routes can take a little longer than urban delivery, so factor in an extra day or two if you’re working to a deadline. If you need samples urgently, choosing the courier option is the best way to speed things up.

Because it removes the biggest doubt: colour and feel. Screens can’t show true texture, weight, or undertone, so swatches help you choose with confidence. Sampling also protects you from disappointment  and it’s the easiest way to confirm your fabric suits your project before you commit to metres.
